Selected as a winner for National Arts Council’s Beyond Words 2016, Nasi Lemak Yayi di pantai Changi (Grandpa's Nasi Lemak at Changi Beach) illustrates a story of intergenerational bonding that is centered around a Singaporean favourite: the Nasi Lemak dish. The characters were digitally painted in a style that retains a sense of innocence and fluidity to appeal to young children.
